The episode begins with our boy Onion spying on Klahadore aka Captain Kuro walking to the shore, where his men are laid the fuck out. Luffy and Zoro made it back to Usopp and Nami, but are mad: Luffy at Usopp for not giving him clear directions, and Zoro at Nami for leaving him stuck in the oiled slope. Captain Jango the Hypnotist knows that they’re all running late and that Captain Kuro will be pissed. So he hypnotizes the men to be stronger so they can finish the job. Somehow, it works but our boy Luffy was watching Captain Jango, as well. He’s already super strong, will it make him even stronger?
It damn sure did make the Black Cat Pirates stronger! One of them punches the cliff and a piece of it falls down! I don’t even want to know what his fist will look like later once the hypnosis wears off. The gang is terrified of how strong the pirates are now. All of them except Luffy, who is surprisingly quiet. The pirates begin running towards them and Luffy wakes up, eyes white and ready to FIGHT! He starts running towards the pirates and using his Gum-Gum powers, knocks every single pirate out. They get up and, realizing that Luffy isn’t done, run for cover. But Luffy is on overload, running through the pirates and towards their ship. He rips off the black cat mast, ready to crush the pirates with it. Captain Jango uses hypnosis again and Luffy goes right to sleep. Unfortunately, he also drops the black cat mast right onto the pirates, barely missing Captain Jango.
Back at the village, Onion has brought his comrades up to speed on Captain Kuro’s shenanigans. They go to Kaya’s mansion to make sure she’s ok. But the secret opening Usopp used has been sealed up. So they try to find another way. Inside the mansion, Kaya is having nightmares about Usopp and jolts awake. She’s alive! She leaves her room looking for Klahadore but finds Merry instead. She runs to him, trying to wake him up. And he’s ALIVE! He tells her about Klahadore’s attack and his plans. Kaya feels like shit because it meant her friend Usopp was right and she didn’t believe him. Kaya tries to call the staff but Klahadore sent them home the night before. Merry tells Kaya that the only way to end this nightmare is to give Klahadore what he wants.
Outside the mansion, the Usopp Pirates are still trying to find a way in. They see Kaya leave the mansion and decide to follow her. Back at the shore, Luffy is out like a light. Captain Jango has no clue what to do now until he remembers the Meowban Brothers, Butchie and Siam. They may not look it, but the brothers are as nimble as, well, cats. Captain Jango tells them to get rid of Zoro and they start freaking out. Siam runs towards Zoro, crying and screaming. But when he gets to Zoro, Siam turns into a lethal weapon, taking two of Zoro’s swords. Zoro is shocked because he didn’t even notice the steal. Siam gets disrespectful and throws the swords to the ground. Zoro gets mad and slices at Siam, who dodges it, grabs Zoro and holds him down to the ground. He calls to his brother Butchie, who leaps in the air, ready to land on Zoro’s neck. Somehow, Zoro gets free and the three begin to fight. Usopp tries to use his slingshot but hits Zoro in the back. Or did he? Because it looks like Zoro took the shot to keep Siam and Butchie from going after Nami and Usopp.
Nami tries to help Zoro by going for the two swords Siam stole. Before she reaches them, Captain Jango slices her shoulder. He’s feeling pretty good about himself until he sees Captain Kuro standing at the top of the slope, looking at the nonsense before him. All of the pirates, including Butchie and Siam start quaking in their boots. Captain Kuro looks at the scene and demands to know what the hell is going on.
Will Captain Kuro’s plan finally come to fruition? Will Kaya convince him to stop the attack? And will Luffy ever wake up? Stay tuned for next week’s episode.
